For summer cottages, electric boilers are mainly installed with a tank volume of 10 liters. and more, with a capacity of 1.5 to 2.5 kW and a stainless steel tank. If power outages often occur in the dacha community, backup power is needed for the boiler to operate.
For a house with individual water supply from a well or an artesian well, it is advisable to purchase a boiler with dry heating elements. In such models, the heating element does not have direct contact with water. Teng is placed in a steatite flask, which protects it from the formation of scale and various deposits. Frequent fluctuations in electrical power negatively affect the operation of electronically controlled boilers.

Polypropylene plumbing
From tools you need a pipe cutter and a special soldering iron. If the boiler is being installed after the start of operation of the individual water supply, and the pipes turned out to be walled up, work is ahead to remove the water supply from the wall.
Cut the pipes and solder the tees. Install additional polypropylene pipes from them to the boiler. Using an end sleeve, connect the pipe through the valve to the boiler. Perform the same steps to connect the device to a hot water pipe.

Metal-plastic plumbing
The main advantage of this water supply system is that the pipes are always laid in an open way. Cut the pipe, install tees, lead outlets to the boiler and establish connections.
To connect the boiler to a metal-plastic water supply system, it is important to know the rules for working with the material.
Steel plumbing
It is much more difficult to connect a modern water heater to a metal water supply system than to polypropylene and metal-plastic pipes. For a high-quality connection of the boiler, you need a powerful clamp with a special cut-in pipe, called "tie-in". A clamp is installed on the steel pipe together with a rubber gasket. The next step is to drill a hole in the pipe through the pipe using a drill and a special sleeve. The sidebar is ready. Then the thread is cut and the bends are made. Separate cranes are installed on the tie-ins. From them pipes from any modern material are led to the boiler.
While working, consider several features of the connection:

Installation of valves
It is necessary to adhere to a certain sequence of installation of valves for cold and hot water.
Install on the cold water supply pipe:
- Install a tee on the tank branch pipe.
- Connect the valve for draining water from the boiler to the side outlet of the tee.
- Mount an explosive or non-return valve on the tee.
- Install a shut-off valve behind the valve.
- Mount the entire structure with a tie-in into the pipe.
To install stop valves on a hot water pipe, you must:
- Install a shut-off valve directly on the tank connection.
- Connect the tank to the pipe.

Connecting the boiler to the mains
If you have purchased a boiler with a capacity of up to 3 kW, there should be no difficulties with connecting to the electrical network.
It is enough just to follow the rules for connecting the boiler to the mains and there will always be hot water in the house:
- Locate the outlet in a location that does not allow accidental splashing of water.
- Connect the boiler only when earthing is installed. This requires a three-pole socket and a three-wire wire.
- It is advisable to remove all electrical wire connections outside the bathroom.
- Use an individual socket to connect the boiler to the mains.
The order of work:
- Measure the distance from the outlet to the boiler.
- Disassemble the boiler plug into parts.
- Strip the cable insulation. Strip the veins with side cutters.
- Solder the wires to the plug contacts. Combine the red wire with the phase, yellow-green or black - ground, and blue - zero.
- Remove the cover from the boiler and open the contacts.
- Strip the wires at the other end of the cable. Connect to the boiler contacts and replace the cover.
There is another type of boiler connection, this is the connection directly to the electrical panel:
- Lay the cable from the boiler to the panel.
- Install an automatic machine next to the boiler and pass the cable through it.
- Remove 10 cm of insulation, strip the phase from the machine and connect to the upper terminal on the machine. Connect a phase from the boiler to the lower terminal.
- Clean the ends of the cable from insulation, free the wires.
- Unscrew the cover, connect the cable conductors to the boiler terminal.
- Disconnect the current and connect the cable to the electrical panel.
If the connection is correct, the indicator on the instrument panel will light up as soon as the machine is turned on. The boiler must not be connected to the mains without grounding.
Installation of an indirect heating boiler
A boiler with a water heating circuit is installed in the country house and you bought a good water heater, but you do not know how to connect an indirect heating boiler yourself.
Correct installation of an indirect heating boiler is when the bottom of the device is located at a level lower than the upper point of the boiler or heating radiator.
For work you will need:
- fum tape;
- screws;
- gas wrench;
- electric drill;
- screwdriver;
- plastic chopiki.
The procedure and diagram for connecting an indirect heating boiler:
- Install the boiler on the wall in the room where the heating boiler is located. The optimum distance between the boiler and the water heater is 50 cm.
- The indirect heating device has 5 outputs that are used for different connections. Connect the lower outlet to the cold water pipe, first installing a non-return valve on it.
- Connect output no. 2 to the heating system supply.
- Connect output no. 3 to the heating system return.
- Connect the hot water channel with the installed circulation pump to outlet no. 4, which will ensure the farthest points of water intake.
- Connect the hot water supply from the boiler to outlet No. 5, after installing a hydraulic accumulator on the pipeline.
- Complete the connection of the indirect heating boiler by connecting the temperature sensor of the device to the circulation pump.
Calculate the volume of the accumulator taking into account the safety class and the volume of the boiler. It is imperative to ground the water heater so that a short circuit does not occur.
