The fence serves to protect the estate from thieves, denotes the boundaries of private ownership, so everyone tries to protect themselves with this building.

In order for the enclosing structure to stand for a long time, it is necessary to lay the foundation - this will be the first stage of making a fence in the country with your own hands. Depending on the weight of the material for the fence, the foundation can be tape (under a heavy fence made of bricks and profiled sheets) or pole (under a wooden fence).

A strip foundation implies a foundation around the entire perimeter of the site, it is used for heavy fences.

The foundation works are performed in the following sequence:

1. A trench is dug up to a depth of 1m. The depth depends on the load that will be transferred to the base.
2. A sand cushion is laid at the bottom of the trench.
3. Align the zero mark on the wooden formwork, which should rise above the ground by about 30 centimeters.
4. Filling the trench with mortar or concrete followed by compaction.

The foundation on concrete posts involves the use of wooden fences for a summer residence, or other structures that are lightweight. Such bases involve the placement of individual supports at a certain distance from each other.

This type of foundation is cheap due to the use of a smaller amount of mortar. He settles in the following order:

1. With the help of a drill with a diameter of up to 30 centimeters at the locations of the wooden pillars, after about 2 ... 3 meters, recesses are made by 1 ... 1.5 meters.
2. A 20 cm layer of sand is laid at the bottom of the pits. The sand is then spilled with water for compaction.
3. The fence posts are installed in compliance with the required distance, according to the level, fixing them in the pit with the help of cement mortar.

Arrangement of a wooden fence in the country

Wooden fences can rightfully be considered the cheapest. The price of a fence for a summer residence depends on the material from which they are made. For example, a fence made of decorative ceramic bricks will cost several times more than a fence made of wooden boards. It should be noted that racks for a wooden fence for a summer residence should be covered with an antiseptic or hot bitumen from the bottom, which will resist rotting of the material, which is caused by high humidity.

Before carrying out work, the following tools and materials should be purchased:

• edged planed board;
• two or three-meter bars with a cross-sectional size of 4 * 4.5 centimeters;
• nails or screws;
• support posts;
• level;
• a tool for sawing wood (hacksaw, jigsaw).

The posts for fastening the fence must be installed in the pit according to the level, taking into account the direction of the fence - the vertical of the posts is checked on both sides. To determine the direction between the first and last post, a strong string is pulled. After fixing the position of the support, you can fill the pit with concrete. After fixing the posts, you need to nail wooden bars to them, on which the picket fence will be attached. If metal pipes were used as racks, then a corner is welded to them to attach the bars, and the guide bars are attached to the racks with self-tapping screws.The distance between the guides is chosen so that the boards are fastened 20 centimeters from the top and bottom of the fence. Next, boards are nailed to the guides according to the design of the fence. The dimensions of each board must be strictly adjusted to the standard so that there are no distortions and differences in height on the finished fence.

Making a fence from corrugated board

Using a fence for a summer residence made of corrugated board has some advantages:

• strength;
• ease of installation;
• beautiful view;
• corrugated board is relatively inexpensive;
• does not require maintenance during operation.

This type of fence is often combined with brickwork, as shown in the photo. In this case, for the device of the fence, a preliminary device of the strip foundation will be required, but not everyone can afford such a pleasure due to its high cost.

Consider a simpler option using metal supports and logs. The fence can be mounted on a columnar foundation.

To complete the work, you must purchase the following materials:

• corrugated board of the selected color;
• metal or wooden supports;
• wooden or metal logs, which are designed to securely fasten the profiled sheet;
• fasteners (dowels, screws, screws);
• tool: drill, level, screwdriver, strong rope.

Before building a fence in the country, it is necessary to measure the territory, designate the location of the racks on the ground. Wooden pegs are hammered in the locations of the racks. Then, in place of the pegs with the help of a drill, they dig holes up to 1.5 m deep. A layer of sand is poured onto the bottom of the hole and spilled with water. The first racks must be placed at the corners of the building in order to set the direction for the future metal fence for the summer cottage.

Supports for the fence from the profile are metal pipes or a square profile. The height of such supports is calculated based on the height of the fence and the depth of the foundation, the distance between adjacent posts is 2-3 meters.

The top of all support pillars is aligned with the tensioned rope between the end supports. These supports must first be fixed, for this purpose they are leveled with a level, the pits are filled with mortar. The level should be applied to the posts from both sides, at an angle of 90 degrees to prevent the post from tilting.

The pits for the racks must be filled with two people: one holds the rack, the second carries out the pouring. After the concrete is compacted, the position of the post is again checked with a level.

After the concrete mixture has hardened, it is possible to mount a metal profile to which the corrugated board will be attached. Metal logs must be installed at a distance of 20 centimeters from the upper and lower parts of the corrugated sheets. Fastening is done by welding.

After installing the frame of the fence for giving from corrugated board, they begin to fasten metal sheets. Here it is important to correctly attach the first sheet, and the rest can be mounted on it.

They begin to mount the sheets of corrugated board from the corner of the site. The verticality and horizontalness of the leaf is adjusted using a level, the rest of the fence is fixed along a stretched rope.

Sheets of corrugated board are attached to the guides with self-tapping screws, which have special rubber gaskets. Consumption of fasteners 5 ... 8 pieces for each sheet of metal. It is not recommended to fasten the corrugated board with rivets, since this material is not able to provide sufficient strength of the fence for giving.
