Spray types
Depending on the principle of operation, the following types of devices are distinguished:

- dynamic (rotary);
- pulse.
Fan sprayers
Such sprinklers break the stream of water into droplets and spread them in a fan-like manner. They are stationary, that is, they do not spin, so the maximum irrigation area is no more than 5 m. You can only change the slope, the size of the drops and the radius of action. For this, certain attachments are included in the kit.
The fan system is usually one of the strongest and most durable. It is used to irrigate lawns.
Umbrella nozzles
The devices are especially popular for watering tall plants and shrubs, as they are able to supply water directly under the plantings. Externally, the nozzle looks like an upside-down umbrella. Of the advantages, it is worth highlighting the ability of sprayers to go underground during a work stop and close the holes, which protects them from clogging with soil.
The disadvantage of umbrella sprayers is the complexity of the installation, which requires pipes to be laid underground.
Pendulum mechanisms
The advantage of the atomizer is its mobility: the nozzle in the form of a tube with holes during operation swings from side to side like a pendulum. This allows you to treat a wider area of the site.
Dynamic Sprinklers
Such devices are very convenient when used for watering plants planted in even beds. They use water sparingly, while having a wide irrigation area due to the reversible property of the nozzle.
Rotary sprayers are capable of covering an area within a radius of up to 20 m, and the angle of inclination of the nozzle can be changed.
Pulse nebulizers
The device consists of several elements that rotate under the influence of the pressure of a stream of water. The most economical option for large areas. One of its disadvantages is the requirement for a strong pressure in the tap, which is not constant and not in all areas. In addition, dirty water in the pipes often clogs the nozzles.
It is very difficult to advise the best sprayer for the garden, because each owner has their own preferences and requirements regarding the methods of growing and caring for plants. In addition, it is necessary to take into account the peculiarities of the operation of mechanisms, focusing on their pros and cons. Therefore, the choice of the device is a personal matter for the gardener.
