Can you tell rabbits to runny? We have an abundance of this weed on our site, every year we try to remove it, but so far to no avail. And this year we decided to go into rabbit farming and now I consider every blade of grass as a potential food for my eared ones. I remember how my grandmother fed her cows to sleepy. Will rabbits eat it, because the grass has a specific smell, and is it not dangerous for them?

The basis of the diet of rabbits is plant food, in particular fresh grass or hay. Moreover, it can even be weeds that grow in abundance on each site, for example, runny. Many people wonder if it is possible to let rabbits runny, given that some pets completely refuse to even try it. Not very pleasant and even repulsive aroma of this herb really not everyone likes. Fortunately, rabbits are not one of them: they are absolutely not afraid of either the taste or the smell of weed. That only plays into the hands of summer residents, who are vainly fighting an arrogant and literally "not killed" plant. Moreover, dreaming contains many nutrients and also has medicinal properties. So what to do with the weed - destroy it or turn it into fodder?

Sleep is rich in fiber, vegetable protein and carbohydrates, thanks to which it is able to quickly saturate the animal. At the same time, it is almost impossible to overeat grass. It improves metabolism, food is digested faster, which means there is no risk of gaining excess weight. Rabbits eat snakes with appetite, gratefully crunching both fresh and dried grass. Moreover, by introducing it into the diet of eared pets, you can not only diversify it, but also strengthen the health of furry pets. Runny has a beneficial effect on the body of rabbits, namely:

1. It normalizes digestion and speeds up metabolism, so fatty tissue is not stored.
2. Serves as prevention and adjunctive treatment of some infectious diseases, because the herb contains phytoncides.
3. Reduces the load on the liver and normalizes its work.
4. Strengthens the immune system due to the presence of vitamin C and reduces the incidence of animal diseases.

How to feed the snake properly

The maximum concentration of nutrients is found in the herb harvested before or after flowering. But blooming snow is also suitable for feeding (along with inflorescences), however, it will not be so useful.

However, there are also limitations. Do not give rabbits freshly picked and wet (from dew or rain) runny, as well as roots. This will lead to stomach problems and may even kill the rabbits.

The collected snow should be separated from the roots and rinsed. Then leave for a day so that it withers. It is better to feed rabbits with weed by adding it to herbs, for example, mixing it with clover or burdock. But you can only give one to sleep several times a week. The exceptions are lactating rabbits and little rabbits. They cannot be given fresh, albeit withered, grass, so as not to disturb digestion. But dried weed will not cause such problems.

Thus, giving eared pets to runny is not only possible, but also necessary, but not fresh and without roots.
