Its disadvantage is that it burns out in bright sun or early thaw. It is recommended to cover the seedling with burlap or spunbond (in several layers), but not with a film.
- "Glauka Globoza" - one of the varieties of blue. The crown grows more in breadth than in height (up to 1 m). Due to the fact that it does not have a main shaft, it forms an unusual dome. As a scientific experiment, she is grafted onto a stamp. An amazing option for a small garden.
- "Bonfire" (thorny variety). It has a spreading top for a fabulous effect. As an adult, it develops without a central trunk.
How to determine the growth rate of a tree? You need to pay attention to the size of the tips of the branches. The length of the new branch will be the annual growth.
Norway spruce is not a picky "neighbor"
To spend less time on grooming, you can choose a regular type of spruce. Little Jam needs no winter shelter. In this case, the undersized seedling has a spherical crown. "Nidiformis" grows in the form of a nest, expanding up to 100 cm. "Vils Zwerg" seduces with its compactness and neatness. Although the variety cannot boast of rapid growth. "Evergold" conquers with a light, almost golden, color. Creates the appearance of a luxurious radiance, as if a special lighting was installed around it.
