Strawberry bushes age and lose most of their harvest from year to year. Therefore, it is not recommended to grow one bed for more than 4 years. The best option is to plant a new row every year, and remove it after 4 years. Thus, several plots will constantly yield crops.
Strawberries belong to crops called early-growing. Already in the second year of its growth, it gives high yields. With proper care, up to 20 tons of berries can be harvested from one hectare. In addition to varieties of ordinary strawberries, which bear fruit for several weeks, remontant varieties are distinguished, which are capable of bearing fruit continuously from June to the end of August.
