In addition, the flower has a docile character. He is able to survive even the most unlucky grower with minimal maintenance. We will now tell you how to choose a place, soil, pot for him and how to care for aloe.

What Aloe Loves: Choosing a Place for a Flower

Like most succulents, aloe thrives just about everywhere. The flower is able to grow in partial shade, but if there is a place on the south window, then it is better to put it there. He loves the sun and under its rays actively builds up a lush outlet. However, in hot summer, glass increases the power of the rays, and they can harm the juicy leaves. During this period, it is advisable to shade the bush.

For the summer, aloe can be taken out into the garden under the trees. In this case, it is better to find a secluded corner where a draft does not walk - a succulent does not like it.

But with regard to the temperature regime, aloe will not cause trouble. He tolerates heat well. The only thing to consider is wintering. Leaves filled with juice will not stand a temperature drop below 10 degrees Celsius. However, this rarely happens in heated houses and apartments.

Choosing a flowerpot and soil for aloe

As a succulent, the plant does not tolerate excess moisture, besides, its roots are not very large. A small pot for a young aloe should be chosen and simply replant the bush annually as it grows.

A drainage layer must be provided in the pot.

Aloe soil should be nutritious and loose. The shops sell special soil mixture for succulents... Also, it is not difficult to make it yourself by mixing:

• sod land - 2 parts;
• leafy ground - 1 part;
• sand - 1 part;
• some peat.

How to care for aloe?

As mentioned, growing aloe is not a big deal. It is enough just to pay a little attention to it sometimes, namely:

1. Water twice a week in the summer and once a week in the winter.
2. In the spring and summer, spray the bush, and in the winter - wipe the dust on the leaves.
3. During the period of active growth, feed with a mineral complex.

In spring, young aloes need to be transplanted into a larger pot every year. It is enough to reload large bushes every three years. Aloe propagates vegetatively: cuttings, shoots or bifurcation of the trunk. The seed method also takes place, but it is rarely used at home.
