One of the simplest and most budgetary ways of interior decoration is decorative film. Unusual patterns can decorate doors, bookcases and, of course, windows. However, in the country, aesthetics are not so important as practical benefits.
Many owners of suburban real estate choose a classic protective film for windows for several reasons:
- Protection. A special foil coating on the outside prevents UV radiation.
- Disguise. Curious neighbors only see their reflection when they try to peer into your windows.
- Keeping warm. The use of a protective film can reduce heat loss by up to 40%, reducing heating costs during the winter season.
- Strength. If the glass breaks, then the fragments, thanks to the film, will not scatter throughout the room.
Mirror film is sold in rolls (1.52 x 30 meters), but you will need a much smaller volume to decorate a country house. For this reason, in some domestic stores it is possible to cut off the required amount, and the price is set for one running meter - about 430 rubles.
On the AliExpress website, the buyer orders ready-made rolls of film - 1.5 meters long, 30 to 85 centimeters wide. Price: from 300 to 1000 rubles per roll. Reviews are advised to carefully choose the seller, because the main problem may not be in the quality of the film itself, but in its packaging. Many buyers complain that strong creases appear during transportation, which cannot be removed even when the film is applied to the glass.
The manufacturer warns that in the dark with artificial lighting, windows must still be closed with blinds or curtains. In general, products in Russian online stores and on AliExpress differ only in price, and not in favor of sellers from China. The transparent film does not spoil the view from the window and perfectly protects from ultraviolet radiation - in rooms facing the sunny side, curtains and furniture do not fade.
